The company is a global consultancy serving clients in the German statutory health insurance sector.

• Advise on application changes and adaptations needed to implement change requests, business needs, and regulatory requirements;
• Elicit, analyse, and document requirements through workshops and interviews with specialist departments;
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and business specifications, and model processes such as BPMN;
• Act as product owner proxy, including backlog prioritisation and stakeholder decisions;
• Translate legislative and regulatory changes, including SGB V, SGB XI, and gematik/TI requirements, into IT requirements;
• Bridge business departments, IT providers, developers, testers, and external vendors using the language of the Fachbereiche;
• Support impact and gap analysis, test case creation, UAT, and defect triage;
• Contribute to sprint and release planning and agile ceremonies;
• Write documentation and stakeholder communications in German.

• Hands-on experience with the IT landscape inside a German statutory health insurer, gained by working for a Krankenkasse or GKV IT provider;
• Approximately 5–10 years of experience in the sector;
• Participation in several IT projects on the business or specialist side, with a clear track record in business analysis and specification writing;
• Sound knowledge of GKV regulation and processes, including data protection, DSGVO, and Sozialdatenschutz;
• Working knowledge of Telematikinfrastruktur topics, including ePA, E-Rezept, and KIM;
• Ability to hold credible conversations with business experts at an insurer;
• Experience in agile Scrum or SAFe, or hybrid delivery, with tools such as Jira and Confluence;
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills;
• Fluent German at C1+ level, written and spoken;
• Nice to have: experience with GKV software providers and platforms such as BITMARCK and oscare, delivery experience on large programmes such as ePA rollout or regulatory releases, prior consulting or client-facing project experience, IREB, CBAP, or PSPO certification.

• Remote work with occasional on-site presence at the client in Germany;
• Long-term freelance contract lasting 12 months or more.
