game designer for game environments

Sperasoft develops game projects with environment art teams working on visual quality, gameplay clarity, and level art production.

• Collaborate with Level Designers and Art Director to maintain visual quality and gameplay clarity;
• Help develop the current team by sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices;
• Model environment assets, including modular pieces, props, terrain elements, and hero assets;
• Perform set dressing through composition, storytelling with props, decals, and scene staging;
• Build and polish level art inside the game engine daily;
• Ensure technical performance through LODs, draw calls, and memory optimization without sacrificing visual ambition;
• Fill gaps in modular kits with high-quality models;
• Review team members' work constructively;
• Lead by example and mentor team members.

• 5+ Years of experience in environment art or level art for games;
• Strong modeling skills with Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max;
• Proficiency with Unreal 5 or Unity;
• Knowledge of PBR, texture creation with Substance, and optimization;
• Strong portfolio demonstrating environment modeling and set dressing work;
• Hands-on approach to modeling and dressing environments;
• Ability to help a team grow through example and mentorship.
