• Own and evolve the Figma design system across web and mobile;
• Design and maintain components, variants, states, variables, tokens, and styles;
• Manage system versioning, deprecation, documentation, and contribution processes;
• Maintain Figma file architecture, libraries, naming conventions, and system hygiene;
• Drive design system adoption across product and design teams;
• Conduct audits and maintain consistency across products and platforms;
• Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate component implementation;
• Maintain design parity between web and mobile experiences;
• Create clear component documentation and specifications for designers and developers.

• Proven experience owning or governing a live design system within a large organisation;
• Hands-on experience designing and shipping components into an existing design system;
• Advanced Figma expertise: Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Variables, Libraries & Design Tokens;
• Strong understanding of responsive design, breakpoints, and front-end implementation constraints;
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams;
• Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills;
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership;
• Nice to have: Experience across both web and native mobile design systems, knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards, experience within regulated or high-volume transactional environments.
