• Define and drive the design vision and end-to-end experience for key areas of Altium 365;
• Translate customer needs and business goals into design principles and product direction;
• Make decisions on user flows, information architecture, and interaction models;
• Design scalable experiences for complex, data-heavy, and collaborative workflows;
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs from discovery to delivery;
• Ensure designs support responsiveness, extensibility, and long-term product growth;
• Partner with product managers and engineering leaders to align design solutions with technical feasibility and business priorities;
• Collaborate with design systems designers to apply and evolve shared components, patterns, and tokens;
• Mentor designers on the team and serve as a point of expertise;
• Conduct or contribute to user research, usability testing, and discovery work;
• Use qualitative and quantitative feedback to iterate on designs and reduce risk before build;
• Champion a customer-centered mindset across the product team;
• Document design rationale, flows, and specifications for engineering handoff;
• Present design work and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback;
• Ensure alignment with accessibility, usability, and quality standards;
• Work closely with front-end engineers to ensure designs are implemented with fidelity;
• Identify and reduce gaps between design intent and shipped experience;
• Apply and contribute to the design system to maintain platform consistency;
• Audit shipped product experiences for consistency and usability;
• Identify friction points and drive iterative improvements based on data and feedback;
• Use metrics and customer feedback to refine product experiences.

• 4+ Years of experience in product design, ideally for SaaS, cloud, or complex technical platforms;
• Proven experience owning end-to-end design for features or products in a multi-team environment;
• Strong systems thinking and experience designing complex, data-rich workflows;
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, tokens, and prototyping;
• Deep understanding of interaction design, responsiveness, and modern web application patterns;
• Experience working closely with engineers and understanding front-end constraints;
• Nice to have: experience with SaaS or cloud platforms, especially collaborative or data-intensive products; strong understanding of design systems, tokens, and theming; familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js and component-driven development; experience conducting or contributing to user research and usability testing; knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG and inclusive design practices; experience designing complex technical or professional user workflows; ability to simplify and standardize data-dense, collaborative interfaces; passion for building products that empower teams and scale across evolving customer needs.
