• Own complex epics end-to-end, from technical design and API contract negotiation through implementation and deployment;
• Develop clean, robust, and idiomatic Kotlin code for modern, responsive user interfaces;
• Apply and ensure consistency of Clean Architecture principles and MVVM/MVI patterns;
• Develop and maintain Android applications using Jetpack Compose and good development practices;
• Analyze and optimize application performance and stability, including memory leaks, networking efficiency, and startup times;
• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines in Azure and Bitrise environments;
• Automate testing, analysis, and deployment processes to minimize manual intervention;
• Define and implement unit and automated UI tests;
• Analyze and resolve critical production incidents;
• Diagnose and resolve issues across different Android OS versions and configurations;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development lifecycle, from technical definition to production release;
• Promote continuous improvement of development, quality, performance, and automation practices.

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 5+ Years of relevant Android development experience;
• Solid Kotlin development experience;
• Advanced Kotlin knowledge, including Coroutines, Flow, and Inline Classes;
• At least 2 years of production experience with Jetpack Compose;
• Solid knowledge of the Android SDK, Lifecycle management, and WorkManager;
• Experience with Clean Architecture and MVVM/MVI patterns;
• Experience with Dependency Injection, including Hilt or Dagger 2;
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, and GraphQL, including Apollo;
• Experience with persistence solutions such as Room or SQLDelight;
• Advanced experience with JUnit, Mockito, or MockK;
• Experience with UI testing using Espresso or Compose Test;
• Knowledge of Google Play Console, Android App Bundles, and ProGuard/R8;
• Experience with CI/CD, preferably with Azure and/or Bitrise;
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems;
• High autonomy, responsibility, proactivity, and quality orientation;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills;
• English at minimum B2 level, with mandatory fluency.

• Hybrid work with 1 office day per week;
• Work location: Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra;
• Candidates must reside in Portugal.
