Pekao CoNext supports key technology initiatives for the Pekao Group and delivers long-term projects that influence the development of banking in Poland. The company works with experienced B2B contractors and develops solutions for one of Poland’s largest banks.

• Build and develop Android applications for payment terminals;
• Design application architecture, including modularization, layer separation, and stable contracts between modules;
• Design and implement user interfaces in Jetpack Compose and complete business processes with error handling, operation retries, and offline mode;
• Integrate applications with payment terminals, their SDKs, and peripherals such as NFC, card readers, and printers;
• Develop kiosk/COSU solutions that support secure device operation;
• Integrate with terminal management systems, including remote parameterization, updates, and device monitoring;
• Ensure application quality and security through testing, code analysis, and mobile security best practices;
• Participate in code reviews, develop team standards, and improve CI/CD processes;
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and high quality of delivered solutions;
• Document key technical decisions, interfaces, and system flows;
• Integrate terminals with VAS applications and external devices using TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, and Android Intents.

• Experience developing Android applications with Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, and AndroidX;
• Experience with MVVM and MVI architectures and designing scalable mobile application structures;
• Experience using Jetpack Compose to build modern user interfaces;
• Experience with Git, Gradle configuration, and dependency management tools such as Dagger or Koin;
• Daily experience with RxJava, Retrofit, OkHttp, and Android Data Binding;
• Experience creating and maintaining unit tests;
• Knowledge of integrating systems based on REST, JSON, XML, and binary protocols;
• Knowledge of Clean Code principles and ability to apply them to deliver high-quality solutions;
• Understanding of secure coding and application security best practices;
• Ability to work independently with technical documentation in English;
• Independence, responsibility, and good work organization;
• Ability to analyze problems, find optimal solutions, and collaborate with a team;
• Experience with Jira and Confluence;
• Nice to have: Higher education in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, code review experience, experience with Gerrit or similar tools, code refactoring experience, knowledge of Android payment terminal environments and device manufacturer SDKs, experience with payment processes such as settlement, reversal, batch processing, and receipt printing, practical knowledge of kiosk mode/COSU and Device Owner API, experience integrating with TMS and remotely managing terminal fleets, knowledge of ISO 8583, ISO 20022, or nexo standards, experience profiling application performance with Android Studio Profiler, experience in financial or other regulated environments, knowledge of PCI and payment application security, experience with Android Keystore, R8/ProGuard, and anti-tampering solutions.
