• Write high-quality, performant code primarily in Go;
• Implement new microservices and help manage and migrate away from legacy services;
• Work with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate abstract requirements into technical designs;
• Keep systems responsive under heavy load by optimizing latency and reliability.

• 3+ Years of experience building and maintaining scalable backend services; 5+ years for senior candidates;
• Strong engineering fundamentals; candidates may interview in their strongest language if they do not know Go;
• In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis;
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka;
• At least 1 year of hands-on mapping-related experience, such as processing noisy geospatial data, map-matching, road network graphs, or routing algorithms;
• Upper-intermediate (B2) English proficiency or higher;
• Nice to have: driver-side intuition for navigation systems, experience with OSRM, C++ proficiency, familiarity with OpenStreetMap.
