задачи
Build integrations with third-party billing and usage APIs to expand vendor coverage and make more customer spending visible in the platform;
Maintain integrations as vendors change their APIs and pricing models, and reduce the marginal cost of future integrations;
Use AI throughout the workflow to explore codebases and APIs, prototype, generate and review code, debug, write tests, and produce documentation;
Improve AI tooling for the codebase and exercise judgment about where AI can increase velocity while maintaining quality;
Own the quality of integration data, addressing duplication, ingestion and reprocessing gaps and race conditions, marketplace spend deduplication, and negotiated customer rates;
Build data checks and reconciliation to verify data accuracy;
Design and build models to normalize vendor bills across units, currencies, time granularity, resource and service taxonomies, and cost categories;
Own ingestion pipeline orchestration, scheduling, and backfills end to end, making backfills routine, safe, and self-service;
Collaborate with product, support, and engineers using the data to identify gaps and propose work.

3+ Years of professional experience in data engineering or a data-heavy backend role, with production ownership of pipelines others depend on;
Strong SQL skills, including writing, reading, and evaluating the performance of complex analytical queries;
Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines with an orchestration framework;
Strong Python or another language used fluently for data work;
Experience with a cloud data warehouse or analytical store such as BigQuery, ClickHouse, Snowflake, or Redshift;
Experience integrating third-party REST APIs, including handling pagination, rate limits, partial failures, late-arriving and restated data, and inaccurate documentation;
A strong focus on data correctness, including reconciling totals, questioning plausible-looking numbers, and building assertions;
Regular use of AI tools throughout the engineering workflow and the ability to discuss their concrete benefits;
Experience developing cloud solutions and/or using cloud services;
Excellent written and spoken English;
Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious;
Nice to have: Dagster or Airflow experience, or comparable experience with Prefect, dbt, or similar tools and readiness to work with Dagster or Airflow; cloud or SaaS billing data experience, including AWS/GCP/Azure cost and usage exports, marketplace billing, or the FOCUS specification; familiarity with Go; experience with financial or audit-grade correctness systems such as invoicing, metering, revenue reconciliation, or billing engines; exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management products; a BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
