data engineer for investment decisions

The client is a large investment company headquartered in New York City. The project enhances a production Data Platform that provides business users with insights for data-driven investment decisions and evolves its architecture to improve usage efficiency.

• Design and implement robust data models;
• Develop reliable ETL pipelines;
• Design and implement the data warehouse;
• Contribute to the evolution of the data warehouse;
• Develop new Data Platform features and projects for specific business data-driven needs;
• Introduce architectural changes to increase usage efficiency.

• 5+ Years of work experience in a data engineering role or 3–5 completed projects;
• Experience with Snowflake, including Open Flow and Iceberg;
• Experience with Python, Azure, ETL pipelines, dbt, and complex SQL queries;
• Knowledge of data management fundamentals, including data modeling, data quality, metadata management, data warehouse/lake patterns, and distributed systems;
• Good spoken English;
• Nice to have: Financial or investment experience.
