Flix develops technology-driven mobility services that make travel smarter, more sustainable, and more affordable. Its Market Data Insights team provides internal data products supporting demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, and network planning worldwide.

• Build and improve data pipelines;
• Work with data products used across markets, commercial functions, and data science teams;
• Explore how data moves through systems;
• Solve unfamiliar technical problems;
• Learn from senior engineers, ask questions, and share ideas;
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues;
• Work with different programming languages and explore areas such as Frontend or data science;
• Use AI and develop AI fluency.

• Some programming experience with Python, Java, or Scala from a job, internship, university, bootcamp, or personal projects;
• Working knowledge of SQL, including tables, queries, and basic data handling;
• Curiosity about data systems and pipeline development;
• Enjoyment of problem-solving and investigating unfamiliar topics;
• Willingness to learn from others, ask questions, and share ideas;
• Ability to work with people from different technical and non-technical backgrounds;
• Openness to different programming languages and areas outside Data Engineering;
• Nice to have: Experience with data pipelines, data modelling, BI tools, data and cloud platform products such as AWS or Snowflake, automated testing, CI/CD, clean code, and software engineering practices.
