full stack developer for an AI-powered data platform

Improvado is an AI-powered marketing data platform for mid-market and enterprise teams. It automates complex marketing data workflows, unifies data at scale, and surfaces insights through BI and AI.

• Use AI tooling, including Claude Code, prompt engineering, and agentic coding, to accelerate development, write tests, optimize complex problems, and ship faster;
• Build and scale a reliable AI agent;
• Develop and maintain backend and frontend systems for Improvado's SaaS platform using Node.js, Next.js, React, and TypeScript;
• Take full ownership of complex features end-to-end;
• Improve system scalability, reliability, and performance;
• Design and implement new features and functionalities;
• Write and maintain tests;
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code;
• Collaborate with UX designers and product owners to create intuitive user interfaces;
• Optimize service performance for fast and responsive experiences;
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues;
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to overall codebase improvements;
• Follow Agile development practices, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.

• Hands-on experience with modern AI tooling, including Claude/Opus, Claude Code, prompt engineering, and agentic coding environments;
• 5+ Years of experience as a software developer;
• Strong front-end development skills with TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and Webpack;
• Strong backend development skills; Node.js experience is preferred, while Python or Java experience is also applicable;
• Experience in large-scale systems development;
• Comfortable with ambiguity and an ownership mentality in a fast-paced startup;
• Familiarity with functional components, hooks, Jest, and React Testing Library;
• Strong understanding of algorithms, design patterns, OOP, SOLID, DDD, and TDD principles;
• Experience with Git and version control systems;
• Knowledge of distributed systems;
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and ClickHouse databases;
• Ability to work on either EST or PST timezone;
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
