• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Kotlin;
• Apply advanced Java concepts and modern software engineering practices;
• Develop and integrate cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure;
• Design and implement AI and Generative AI capabilities within applications;
• Work with ChatGPT and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies;
• Develop and integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions;
• Design and implement Agentic AI workflows and intelligent agents;
• Work with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and related AI integration patterns;
• Integrate AI services and models into existing applications and enterprise systems;
• Build APIs and backend services to support AI-enabled applications;
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions;
• Troubleshoot, test, optimise, and maintain applications and AI components;
• Follow secure, scalable, and maintainable development practices.

• 4–6 Years of professional software development experience;
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Kotlin;
• Strong understanding of advanced Java concepts;
• Experience developing applications in Azure Cloud;
• Practical experience with AI and Generative AI technologies;
• Experience working with ChatGPT or LLM-based solutions;
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation);
• Experience with Agentic AI concepts and implementations;
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol);
• Strong software development and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

• The project is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands;
• The engagement starts on 1 October 2026;
