Design, build, and deploy robust, high-performance Java applications and microservices;
Leverage core AWS services to manage, scale, and maintain cloud-native backend systems;
Drive complex API integrations, state handling, and data flows for third-party services;
Collaborate closely in a tight 2-dev pod, perform peer code reviews, and ship clean, testable code.

At least 5 years of extensive hands-on experience in Java backend development with Spring Boot / Java EE;
Practical experience building and deploying backend services on AWS, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, SQS/SNS;
Deep comfort working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL and/or NoSQL systems;
Strong grasp of RESTful API architecture, asynchronous communication, and secure backend patterns;
Ability to self-manage, prioritize deliverables, and communicate clearly in an asynchronous environment;
Nice to have: PayPal payment flow implementation experience, including PayPal Checkout REST APIs, Webhooks/IPN handling, Subscriptions, or Payouts.
