Intellias is a software provider in the automotive industry. The company develops cloud-based services and data products for dealers, enterprise customers, and internal business units, supporting quoting, ordering, asset telemetry, diagnostics, and lifecycle support for heavy equipment.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Spring Boot-based microservices in a distributed architecture;
• Build and operate event-driven data processing pipelines for streaming data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment;
• Analyze, transform, validate, and optimize complex datasets;
• Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries and data workflows;
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to solve complex data challenges;
• Contribute to data warehousing and analytics initiatives, including Snowflake-based solutions where applicable;
• Develop and maintain robust APIs for internal and external consumers;
• Design and support reliable, scalable backend systems using AWS cloud services;
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL and DynamoDB schemas;
• Implement and maintain automated unit and integration testing strategies;
• Contribute to and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines;
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and observability best practices;
• Collaborate effectively in a distributed team and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies;
• Take ownership of features end-to-end, from design through deployment and production support.

• 6+ Years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining production backend services and distributed systems using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, and Docker;
• 3+ Years of hands-on experience with AWS core services and cloud-native application development;
• Strong experience designing and operating event-driven distributed systems using Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or equivalent messaging platforms;
• Strong experience with microservices, MVC, and event-driven architectures;
• Strong experience with JPA / Hibernate;
• Strong database design skills with PostgreSQL, advanced SQL, and DynamoDB, including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning;
• Solid test automation experience using JUnit and Cucumber;
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and/or similar CI/CD tools;
• Strong ownership and self-management in a fast-paced Agile environment;
• Ability to independently deliver end-to-end solutions, resolve blockers, and communicate effectively in English;
• Ability to provide 6 hours overlap with US Central Time (CT) on business days, till 2 pm CT latest;
• Willingness to provide off-hours or weekend production support when required;
• Nice to have: Advanced SQL expertise, event and telemetry data processing at scale, AWS CloudFormation, jOOQ, Flyway, BigQuery, Databricks, Spring Cloud, geospatial data with PostGIS, large-scale data platforms, reporting systems, business analytics products, distributed data processing, data pipeline technologies.

• Remote work is available in Bulgaria, Colombia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Ukraine;
• On-call support may include off-hours or weekend production support when required.
