Build and enhance backend applications using Java;

Improve performance and overall system stability;
Take ownership of features from development through production;
Work with engineering, product, and operations teams;
Contribute to planning, code reviews, and mentoring or coaching team members;
Investigate production issues and drive continuous improvement;
Improve software development and delivery processes;
Write automated tests and support continuous delivery practices;
Follow secure coding standards and support compliance requirements.

Experience developing backend systems in a professional environment;
Experience working with Java;
Understanding of system performance and concurrency;
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines;
Comfort working in a Linux environment;
Problem-solving and learning mindset;
Clear communication and effective teamwork;
Ownership of work and follow-through;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Nice to have: experience in trading or financial systems, familiarity with messaging protocols such as FIX.
