Société Générale is a banking group whose Corporate and Investment Banking business uses information systems to support structured finance activities, liquidity calculations, and regulatory reporting.

Develop code using Software Craftsmanship best practices and quality standards, including technical debt management, clean code, reviews, peer programming, and infrastructure as code;
Understand business requirements and define technical solutions;
Deliver regular product increments;
Collaborate remotely with the development team in Paris;
Apply release processes and provide L1/L2/L3 support during production issues by implementing technical fixes;
Participate in and contribute to all Agile ceremonies;
Collaborate on specifications, test plans, and certification with Business Analysts;
Provide technical analysis, effort estimation, and risk assessment for project scoping;
Select appropriate solutions to ensure security, scalability, and efficiency;
Analyze errors and contribute to continuous improvement;
Share knowledge with other team members;
Participate in weekend operations for resiliency tests and upgrades 2–3 weekends per year;
Develop and maintain continuous delivery tools;
Create and manage technical documentation.
требования
5+ Years of relevant experience in Java backend development;
Experience with Spring and Spring Boot;
Proficiency with Jenkins and Maven;
Comfortable working with relational databases and SQL;
Able to translate mathematical equations into code;
Understands web services;
Works efficiently in Agile environments and BDD practices;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Customer-oriented team player who values partnership-based relationships;
Continuous improvement mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Able to plan and prioritize work;
Fluent in English;
Nice to have: Polish or French, monitoring tools such as Logstash, Kibana, and Elasticsearch.
