.net developer for a digital insurance platform

The project develops and enhances a digital insurance technology platform that supports the end-to-end insurance lifecycle, including quoting, policy issuance, payments, servicing, renewals, and claims. It provides scalable, secure, and reusable APIs and digital services for integrating insurance products across web, mobile, and partner ecosystems.

• Design and build .NET 8 microservices using FastEndpoints and Clean Architecture;
• Implement Temporal workflow orchestration, including typed workflow and activity interfaces, cross-task-queue dispatch, and signal/query patterns;
• Build rules evaluation integrations with the GoRules ZEN engine;
• Develop platform capabilities, including a config registry, rules API, workflow gateway, and payment and policy adapters;
• Implement service-to-service authentication with Managed Identity, Cerbos authorization integration, and structured logging with Serilog/Anotar;
• Write and maintain xUnit tests using FakeItEasy and Shouldly, including integration tests against real dependencies without a mock database;
• Collaborate with platform and domain teams on API contracts, OpenAPI specifications, and shared NuGet libraries.

• At least 3 years of hands-on .NET development experience with .NET 6+; .NET 8 is required;
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, strict layer dependency rules, separation of business logic from the API layer, and Result-based error handling for business errors;
• Hands-on experience with ITemporalClient, IWorkflow, IActivity, task queue registration, and cross-task-queue dispatch;
• Strong experience with Azure services, including Key Vault, Managed Identity, Blob Storage, and Application Insights;
• Experience with structured error-handling patterns;
• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core or equivalent ORM technologies, including migrations, value objects, and aggregate roots;
• Hands-on experience with automated testing using xUnit, FakeItEasy, and Shouldly, including integration testing patterns;
• Strong hands-on experience with containerized local development using Docker, Podman, or equivalent technologies;
• Good understanding of Dockerfiles and multi-stage builds;
• Experience running and troubleshooting a complete local development stack with Podman Compose, including application services, Temporal, and databases;
• Intermediate+ English or higher;
• Nice to have: familiarity with Result/Maybe patterns, FastEndpoints 7.x including endpoint-per-feature patterns, validators, and mappers, GoRules ZEN engine including JDM format, ZEN expression language, and decision table compilation, Cerbos .NET client including principal/resource construction and CheckResource middleware integration, JSONata .NET (Jsonata.Net.Native), Kafka consumer patterns, SOAP/WCF client integration, Temporal .NET SDK.
