.net developer for risk management

Luxoft builds next-generation solutions for risk management teams and portfolio managers through small, agile teams of technologists.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and Angular;
• Enhance and extend existing functionality based on user feedback and evolving business needs;
• Develop complex business logic and analytical calculations for capital usage and scenario modeling workflows;
• Build and maintain interactive data visualizations, reports, and charts;
• Develop and integrate REST/HTTP-based services and messaging solutions where required;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while ensuring high application availability and performance;
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Work closely with a small, cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software;
• Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, preferably within the hedge fund or financial services industry;
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET;
• At least 4 years of frontend development experience;
• Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, with hands-on experience within the last 3 years;
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures;
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP);
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns;
• Experience with multi-threaded and concurrent programming;
• Proven ability to design, build, and support scalable, high-availability applications in production environments;
• Strong passion for backend architecture and application development, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement;
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills;
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills;
• Independent, proactive mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability;
• Nice to have: Experience with Portfolio and Risk Management systems, familiarity with financial instruments, strong grasp of RDBMS concepts, data modeling and database design, practice of Test-Driven Development and performance profiling across the stack.
