Node.js Developer

EPAM provides enterprise software products, open source solutions, and accelerators through EPAM SolutionsHub.

• Design and develop scalable front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs;
• Analyze existing legacy applications and define target-state architecture for modernization;
• Implement and optimize solutions in a cloud environment using AWS services;
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability across applications and services;
• Collaborate in an Agile setting with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
• Contribute to code reviews and establish engineering best practices;
• Use testing frameworks and monitoring tools to maintain product quality and stability;
• Communicate with clients and internal teams, providing technical insights and recommendations.

• 5+ Years of software engineering experience, including Node.js development;
• Strong JavaScript expertise with practical Node.js experience;
• Experience designing microservices architecture and building REST APIs;
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch;
• Knowledge of database technologies, including DynamoDB and PostgreSQL;
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Java;
• Understanding of CI/CD, testing practices, Cucumber, and API testing frameworks;
• Experience working in Agile development environments;
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills;
• Ability to manage ambiguity;
• Nice to have: DB2 legacy experience.

• Hybrid work in Gdansk or Krakow, Poland, with 3 days from the office.
