EPAM develops enterprise software products, open source solutions, and technology accelerators. The project provides a highly scalable, event-driven core platform built with AWS serverless technologies.
задачи
Design, build, and maintain resilient event-driven services on AWS serverless infrastructure;
Own and develop infrastructure as code to ensure reliable and consistent deployments;
Contribute to architectural decisions, evaluate alternative approaches, and document technical trade-offs;
Ensure operational excellence by keeping services secure, highly available, scalable, and easy to monitor;
Write and maintain automated end-to-end tests;
Collaborate with senior engineers to evolve developer platform capabilities and core engineering standards.
требования
6+ Years of professional experience;
Strong hands-on experience using Python as the primary language;
Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, multi-account setups, and security;
Experience with AWS Lambda in high-traffic production environments;
Practical experience designing and operating event-driven systems with EventBridge, SQS, and SNS;
Solid experience with AWS CDK, ideally using TypeScript;
Deep architectural and operational expertise in DynamoDB, including single-table design, access-pattern modeling, GSIs/LSIs, capacity planning, TTL, and troubleshooting;
Strong understanding of distributed data consistency, including ACID, BASE, eventual consistency, and service boundaries;
Strong experience with automated testing strategies, ideally using BDD frameworks such as Behave;
Experience with schema definition and validation libraries such as JSON Schema or Pydantic;
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, making technical decisions, and guiding architectural direction;
Nice to have: AWS OpenSearch, application profiling and memory optimization, GraphQL or REST API design and management, high-volume mission-critical production workloads.
