Cantor Fitzgerald provides financial services and supports trading, compliance, legal, tax, treasury, finance, human resources, and other corporate functions. Its automation and applied AI engineering team develops production-grade solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational controls.
задачи
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack automations and services across backend components, relational databases, REST APIs, and web-based user interfaces;
Develop solutions using Python, Django, and relational databases such as SQL Server;
Develop and support web-based interfaces using React;
Build and support integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms using APIs and controlled browser automation;
Apply generative AI and large language models to document and email processing, information extraction, classification, and AI-assisted report and summary drafting;
Implement controls for AI-enabled solutions, including structured-output validation, exception handling, auditability, and human review;
Learn workflows, terminology, controls, and operational challenges across different business functions to design effective automation solutions;
Own assigned solutions throughout their lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and ongoing production support;
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability, performance, recoverability, and supportability;
Develop automated tests and participate in code reviews;
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for scheduled and unattended automations;
Liaise with stakeholders across compliance, legal, trading operations, tax, treasury, finance, and HR to validate business logic, manage expectations, and communicate technical trade-offs and timelines;
Develop and support compliance and regulatory reports by translating approved business rules into reliable technical solutions with data validation, traceability, documentation, and auditability;
Document and communicate technical designs and decisions;
Evaluate relevant software-development, automation, and applied AI technologies for organizational use.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience;
2–5 Years of professional software-development experience;
Strong understanding of software-development lifecycle activities;
Strong proficiency in Python and a modern web framework such as Django;
Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs;
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, including database design, querying, and troubleshooting;
Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD practices;
Self-directed and intellectually curious approach;
Enthusiasm for learning unfamiliar business domains and understanding complex operational processes;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to work directly with non-technical business stakeholders on requirements, trade-offs, and expectations;
Nice to have: Working proficiency in a modern JavaScript framework such as React, browser automation or RPA tooling, Unix shell scripting, production experience integrating generative AI or large language model APIs, DevOps methodologies, Financial Services background, trade lifecycles or post-trade processes, compliance areas such as AML, sanctions, employee compliance, trade surveillance, supervisory controls, or audit-related reporting.
