python developer in serverless platforms

The project is a highly scalable, event-driven core platform built using AWS serverless technologies. The team is responsible for its end-to-end architecture, infrastructure, and automated testing strategy.

• Design, build, and maintain resilient, event-driven services on AWS serverless infrastructure;
• Own and develop infrastructure as code to ensure reliable and consistent deployments;
• Contribute to architectural decisions, evaluate design approaches, and document technical trade-offs;
• Ensure services are secure, highly available, scalable, and easy to monitor;
• Write and maintain automated end-to-end tests;
• Collaborate with senior engineers to evolve developer platform capabilities and core engineering standards.

• 6+ Years of experience;
• Strong hands-on professional experience using Python as the primary language;
• Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, multi-account setups, and security;
• Experience with AWS Lambda in high-traffic production environments;
• Experience designing and operating event-driven systems using EventBridge, SQS, and SNS;
• Solid experience with AWS CDK, ideally using TypeScript;
• Deep architectural and operational knowledge of DynamoDB, including single-table design, access-pattern modeling, GSIs/LSIs, capacity planning, TTL, and operational troubleshooting;
• Strong understanding of distributed data consistency, including ACID vs. BASE, eventual consistency, and service boundaries;
• Strong experience with automated testing strategies;
• Experience with schema definition and validation libraries such as JSON Schema or Pydantic;
• Nice to have: AWS OpenSearch operational and development experience, application profiling and memory optimization skills, GraphQL or REST API design and management experience, experience operating high-volume, mission-critical production workloads.
