Referment is partnering with a venture-backed AI startup building AI-powered cybersecurity products.

• Design backend systems;
• Ship React interfaces;
• Improve databases;
• Debug production systems;
• Deploy continuously;
• Shape the product and engineering culture;
• Own products end-to-end, from customer problem through to production.

• Strong commercial Python experience;
• Solid engineering fundamentals, including testing, databases, and production systems;
• React experience or willingness to work across the frontend;
• Comfortable using LLMs as development tools;
• Startup mentality with genuine product ownership;
• Around 2–6 years' experience;
• Must be comfortable working across backend, frontend, and infrastructure;
• Must be comfortable with production responsibility and solving loosely defined customer problems;
• Must be focused on this startup and not splitting attention with another startup;
• Nice to have: Cybersecurity, workflow orchestration with Prefect or Airflow, high-growth SaaS, early-stage startups.
