• Expand and maintain high-throughput i18n/l10n workflows, Translation Management System integrations, ICU/CLDR formatters, and dynamic locale switching;
• Own, evolve, and modernize Box’s core UI design system while establishing standards for styling isolation and design token theming;
• Integrate AI tools, coding agents, LLM-assisted migration workflows, codemods, AI skill integrations, and intelligent assistants;
• Steer the evolution of frontend systems, build pipelines, CI/CD automated gates, and package management;
• Partner with Product Management, UX Design Systems, Architecture SIGs, and cross-functional product teams on scalable multi-quarter initiatives;
• Guide and mentor peers;
• Participate in architectural design reviews, including RFCs and TDDs;
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous innovation.

• 5+ Years of software engineering experience designing, building, and operating production-grade web applications, component libraries, or frontend platform infrastructure;
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, or AI developer assistants for code generation, automated refactoring, documentation extraction, or workflow automation;
• Experience designing intelligent pipelines, evaluation harnesses, or context-aware AI integrations for platform, developer tooling, or product engineering challenges;
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ESNext), and React;
• Solid knowledge of modern React patterns;
• Strong understanding of CSS Modules, Design Tokens, CSS variables/custom properties, CSS isolation/scoping strategies, and animation patterns;
• Experience with monorepos, module bundling, and CI/CD pipelines;
• Strong focus on WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, web performance vitals, and automated testing;
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal;
• Ability to explain complex technical trade-offs, write architectural RFCs, and drive domain-wide consensus;
• Nice to have: enterprise localization frameworks, FormatJS, react-intl, i18next, CLDR/ICU standards, bidirectional/RTL layouts, TMS synchronizations, Module Federation, decoupled web runtimes, cross-application singleton providers, client-side event tracking, product analytics integrations, Telemetry, Real User Monitoring.
