Albert Heijn is a retail company operating stores, home shopping centers, distribution centers, and a headquarters across the Netherlands and Flanders. Its Ad-Tech Cluster develops a retail media SaaS solution for Ahold Delhaize brands in Europe and the US, supporting advertising across digital channels and physical stores.

• Take ownership of specific product areas within the retail media suite;
• Improve existing functionality and develop new features for a wide range of brands;
• Collaborate closely with the product owner and team on innovative features and new technologies;
• Build a SaaS solution suitable for multiple retailers;
• Ensure product quality through automated end-to-end testing;
• Consider the wider product suite beyond individual components;
• Contribute actively to discussions and express opinions proactively.

• 8+ Years of experience in a comparable role;
• Up-to-date knowledge of the current JavaScript landscape;
• Experience optimizing the performance and technical quality of complex applications;
• Extensive experience with React.js and Next.js;
• Clear understanding of component-based architecture;
• Experience with server-side rendering in Next.js;
• Experience with Tailwind CSS;
• Ability to build efficient and reusable UI components;
• Experience with Git, GitHub, version control, code reviews, and pull request workflows;
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing;
• Proactive attitude;
• Nice to have: experience working in a monorepository with tools such as Nx or Turborepo, experience managing shared components and modules within a large codebase, knowledge of and experience maintaining GitHub Actions.

• Annual salary up to €105K, including holiday pay and a flexible bonus;
