Cyber Security Officer – Security Data Engineer and Visualisation Specialist

• Audit existing metrics, data sources, manual workflows, and automation opportunities;
• Plan, design, and implement scalable data pipelines with stakeholders;
• Improve pipelines to ensure data accuracy and reliability;
• Build, maintain, and optimise automated Power BI dashboards;
• Replace manual reporting with live, data-driven quantitative visualisations;
• Enforce standardised reporting templates and slide masters across department communications;
• Lead periodic validation sessions with Security Operations and the CISO Office;
• Refine KPI relevance and adjust metric weightings;
• Translate risk postures into performance metrics;
• Build cross-functional relationships and synthesise complex technical concepts into actionable insights;
• Present concise narratives based on complex datasets to executive management;
• Drive the transition from manual reporting to an automated data-driven environment;
• Anticipate future reporting needs and propose pipeline enhancements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Up to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analysis, Cybersecurity, or a similar field;
• Advanced English proficiency, written and oral;
• Knowledge of cybersecurity risk domains, vulnerability scanners, and the cybersecurity operational landscape;
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including Pandas and PySpark, and SQL, including MSSQL, T-SQL, and PostgreSQL;
• Knowledge of ETL orchestration, security architecture, and API integration;
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including Data Analysis Expressions, Excel, including Power Query, and PowerPoint, including Slide Master;
• Familiarity with Security Operations data, including SIEM, vulnerability scanners, ServiceNow GRC, Confluence, and SharePoint;
• Ability to maintain attention to detail and demonstrate rigour;
• Proactive approach;
• Nice to have: Azure Data Engineering certifications DP-203/700, Microsoft Data Analyst certification PL-300 or equivalent, SY0-701 certification, CompTIA Security certification.
