devops engineer for cloud infrastructure

The client delivers standardized, cloud-based IT services and uses automation to improve infrastructure, networks, digitalization, and operational efficiency.

• Design, deploy, and manage robust infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS and Nutanix;
• Develop and implement REST APIs, automation workflows, and configuration management scripts;
• Modernize legacy systems for cloud performance and resource efficiency;
• Collaborate with IT service delivery, data analytics, and integration teams;
• Document configurations, standards, and infrastructure best practices;
• Build, maintain, and improve a secure cloud-based environment with automated infrastructure services.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Specialist, or DevOps Engineer;
• Extensive experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, and Rundeck for infrastructure automation;
• At least a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK;
• Knowledge and experience with hybrid cloud services, including AWS EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda, and Nutanix;
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines;
• A proactive attitude toward exploring new technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions;
• Nice to have: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux system administration.

• Contract assignment on an interim/freelance basis for 6 to 12 months;
• Rate to be discussed;
