devops engineer for data infrastructure

Wiztech is an employer based in Cyprus that provides data and infrastructure engineering opportunities.

• Design, maintain, and scale ClickHouse clusters;
• Work with sharding, replication, MergeTree, and performance tuning;
• Own backups, failover, and disaster recovery;
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines, including Kafka → ClickHouse;
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD;
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana;
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform reliability.

• Have 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, DevOps/SRE, or DBA;
• Have strong hands-on production experience with ClickHouse;
• Have strong SQL and Linux skills;
• Have experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other databases;
• Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC;
• Have experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• Have experience with Python, Bash, or Go;
• Have experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot;
• Nice to have: Kafka, OLAP platforms, BI tools, ClickHouse/open-source contributions.
