• Build and evolve AWS infrastructure with Terraform, extending existing modules and writing new ones across compute, networking, storage, IAM, databases, and load balancing;
• Provision and manage OpenStack virtual machines and Linux services, as well as workloads on bare-metal Linux hosts;
• Deploy and operate OKD workloads using Helm and Helmfile, maintaining charts, values, and templates, and troubleshooting deployments;
• Build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments;
• Manage Linux systems with Ansible, writing new roles and adapting existing ones;
• Own observability for workloads by configuring metric collection in Prometheus and VictoriaMetrics, maintaining Grafana dashboards, setting up and tuning alerts, and working with centralized ELK logging;
• Work closely with Development and QA teams to support production systems and day-to-day development test environments, deployments, environment configuration, infrastructure issues, and release blockers;
• Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, networking, Linux, CI/CD, and application platforms, including cross-system problems;
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvements;
• Review infrastructure code and coordinate with DevOps, Development, QA, and Platform teams on cross-team changes.

• Strong, recent hands-on AWS experience with large-scale, high-traffic, business-critical production systems;
• Solid Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience;
• Practical experience running workloads in Kubernetes-based environments and working with Helm;
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab CI;
• Hands-on Ansible experience, including writing or maintaining roles;
• Understanding of infrastructure networking: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls/security groups, and connectivity troubleshooting;
• Practical experience with metrics and alerting using Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, and Grafana, and centralized logging with ELK;
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex problems across multiple layers of the stack;
• Confidence with Linux, virtual machines, and production infrastructure; comfortable working outside fully managed cloud services and understanding the systems underlying applications;
• Comfortable using Bash, Python, or similar tools for automation.
