devops engineer in critical incident management

Wedextim maintains a Critical Incident Management platform, a high-load, fault-tolerant system operating 24/7. The distributed project team maintains its applications and infrastructure.

• Expand, maintain, and operate monitoring systems for cloud infrastructure;
• Operate and monitor cloud products;
• Participate in the strategic development of Internet Security;
• Support dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications;
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues;
• Research new technologies and ways to improve and optimize services.

• Demonstrated ambition for automation in Infrastructure as a Service;
• Experience with configuration management and automated deployment, including Terraform and Ansible;
• Experience with Kubernetes and container virtualization;
• Knowledge of containers and container orchestration, including Docker, Kubernetes, and ContainerD;
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Powershell, Go, or Ruby;
• Experience with at least two major CSPs: Azure, AWS, or GCP;
• Security awareness in the Internet environment;
• Ability and willingness to learn and explore new technologies;
• Comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing, with team members;
• Nice to have: administrator-level Linux and Windows, VMware virtualization, configuration management with Ansible/Puppet/Salt Stack, database administration, NoSQL databases, caching, general networking, monitoring/alerting/logging services, Auth/Directory services, storage concepts, collaboration with developers and operations in DevOps-enabled environments, working under pressure and delivering projects on time, a Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any field, cluster architecture systems.
