platform engineer for desktop and mobile development

• Collaborate with engineering teams to build, maintain, and improve tooling and frameworks supporting mobile, desktop, and web product development, with a near-term focus on mobile;
• Create and maintain in-house tools that automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency;
• Work with CI pipelines, code-signing, release and deployment systems, crash metric ingestion, and automation frameworks to solve team productivity issues;
• Investigate pain points in development processes and systems and implement improvements;
• Lead and participate in design, planning, and architecture discussions;
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling for configuration refactoring and scripted upgrades to eliminate toil;
• Research and propose design approaches and present their pros and cons to engineers and management;
• Champion best practices in security, compliance, and artifact governance within the software delivery lifecycle;
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to and triage issues while on-call.

• 2+ Years of software development or DevOps/platform engineering experience;
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, C#, Swift, Ruby, TypeScript, or Go;
• Knowledge of software design principles;
• Practical experience managing jobs and pipelines with Jenkins, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions;
• Practical experience with virtualization and containerization tools for build infrastructure;
• Practical experience with mobile build tooling, including Fastlane, Gradle, and Xcode command-line tools;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Strong design and analytical skills;
• Curiosity, openness, and a pragmatic approach to leveraging new tools, including AI;
• Familiarity with modern unit-testing and functional-testing frameworks and methodologies across mobile and/or web platforms;
• A history of collaboration and success in small, high-velocity agile teams;
• Interest in building tools and frameworks for other engineers;
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;
• Ability to assess, communicate, and complete project milestones with managers and team members in a time-sensitive manner;
• Nice to have: experience with web build tooling, mobile code signing and release platforms, web build and deployment pipelines, cloud hosting environments, mobile device farms or cloud testing platforms, Unix/Linux system administration and troubleshooting, React Native build pipelines, browser-based or mobile UI automation frameworks, observability and crash/performance monitoring tooling, Node.js.

• Hybrid work from the Warsaw office, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, focused on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays;
• AI-powered development tools, including Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot, are provided.
