Senior AI Platform Engineer for AI infrastructure

Scorewarrior is an independent game studio behind Total Battle, a 4X strategy game, and is actively adopting AI tools across the company.

• Build and operate core AI infrastructure, including model access, provider abstraction, identity, credentials, quotas, fallback, usage and cost visibility;
• Build managed MCP infrastructure with tool-level access control, credentials, auditability and self-service onboarding;
• Design runtime and orchestration capabilities for production AI agents, including knowledge retrieval, log analysis, code execution and workflow automation;
• Build observability, evaluation and security guardrails for AI workloads;
• Work with engineering and product teams to turn high-impact AI use cases into reusable platform capabilities;
• Own systems end-to-end across architecture, implementation, infrastructure, deployment, observability and production support.

• 5+ Years of experience designing and delivering production backend, infrastructure or platform services;
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
• Strong system-level understanding of service and API design, distributed systems and data flows;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure and container orchestration with Kubernetes;
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, observability, reliability and production operations;
• Practical understanding of authentication, authorization, secrets management and secure service design;
• Ability to handle ambiguous problems, make architectural trade-offs and deliver production solutions end-to-end;
• Nice to have: production experience with LLM applications, agentic systems or RAG, experience with MCP, model gateways, LLM observability or evaluation frameworks, experience with vector databases, semantic search or embeddings, experience building internal developer platforms or self-service infrastructure, hands-on experience with Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI and cloud-native infrastructure tooling such as Helm or Kubernetes operators.
