project manager for AI-first delivery

• Lead complex software projects from initial scope through delivery with customers and multidisciplinary teams;
• Lead distributed international development and testing teams across time zones and borders;
• Build customer relationships and act as a delivery partner;
• Negotiate project scope and change requests while protecting commercial interests;
• Plan and steer projects using classical and agile methods;
• Own budget, schedule, risks, dependencies, and project profitability;
• Prioritize work, delegate responsibilities, and ask for support when needed;
• Coach, delegate, and build cohesive teams;
• Run recurring project work AI-first and make the method reusable for the team;
• Generate status reports, delivery roadmaps, and KPI analysis from project data using AI-first approaches;
• Delegate defined steps to AI agents and review their output at critical points;
• Initiate and run projects using AI-first SDLC practices;
• Move teams from traditional to AI-first delivery and adapt roles accordingly;
• Handle customer-side AI constraints involving public versus sensitive data, on-premise versus cloud, and customers that prohibit AI;
• Explain how licensed tools work alongside customer policies and applicable law.

• Extensive experience leading software development projects;
• Experience leading distributed international teams;
• Experience working directly with customers and building lasting relationships;
• Strong understanding of software engineering and how business applications are built from scratch;
• Experience with AI-first SDLC and AI-first project delivery;
• Ability to use project data, numbers, and KPI analysis for decision-making;
• Precise, reliable, and professional written communication;
• Confident German communication and negotiation skills at C1 level;
• Comfortable working in English every day;
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and team gatherings;
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with AI-first frameworks in real projects, fixed-price project delivery and P&L responsibility, public-sector experience, risk management and crisis experience, public tenders or proposals, PMP or another advanced PM certification, AI-first or AI-in-PM qualification.

• Occasional travel for customer meetings and team gatherings.
