Buckland helps companies manage global trade through customs brokerage, trade managed solutions, freight forwarding, trade technologies, and warehousing and distribution services.

• Build and manage project schedules, milestones, and target completion dates;
• Engage project participants and sponsors to ensure active participation in project initiatives and deliverables aligned with the SDLC;
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive the management, scope, and implementation of key initiatives;
• Assess project roadblocks, identify solutions, and manage dependencies, critical paths, and contingency plans;
• Establish ownership and accountability for project tasks and ensure adequate personnel and tools;
• Lead end-to-end project management processes, including planning, documentation, SOP development, training, and post-implementation optimization;
• Manage, develop, evolve, and improve project charters, project plans, and timeline records;
• Facilitate project definition, scope, estimates, and work breakdown structure;
• Work with the development team on Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD);
• Forecast financial objectives, prepare project budgets, analyze variances, and initiate corrective action;
• Source and provide training on new technologies and industry trends;
• Use Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook;
• Ensure accuracy and support decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

• University Degree or College Diploma in Business Analysis, Project Management, IT Project Management, or relevant business education;
• Active PMP certification;
• Scrum Certification or ability to obtain it;
• 3-5+ Years of relevant experience in project management fundamentals and methodologies;
• Leadership and accountability for achieving results;
• Experience with project management software and standards, including MS Project, Asana, Gantt Charts, and Visio;
• Experience in an Agile software development environment and familiarity with Agile events;
• Experience working with Product Owners, testers, and other stakeholders;
• Ability to work with limited resources and align them with strategic directions;
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Legal eligibility to work for the Company at all times;
• Valid passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel to other office locations in CAD/USA/MX.
