• Take overall responsibility for the quality of BundesMessenger across all components, including Android, iOS, Web, backend, and SDK;
• Build a shared QA strategy;
• Implement the strategy as executable quality architecture with Quality Gates embedded in the development workflows of all teams;
• Build and optimize automated test frameworks at unit, integration, and E2E levels;
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines;
• Implement and establish a secure software supply chain with dependency scanning, SAST/DAST code analysis, and artifact verification;
• Evaluate modern test frameworks;
• Develop internal tools and validate new approaches through proof-of-concepts;
• Act as a contact person and mentor for quality-related questions across all teams;
• Raise quality standards through pairing, reviews, and shared code.

• Completed university degree or comparable IT training;
• Around 6 years of quality assurance experience focused on test automation for web, mobile, and backend;
• Hands-on experience independently building frameworks and configuring pipelines;
• Strong object-oriented programming skills, for example in Python, Java, or TypeScript;
• Experience building test frameworks and test environments from scratch;
• Daily practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and Git;
• Strong awareness of software supply chain security;
• Ability to independently introduce SCA and SAST tools;
• Fast decision-making and independent execution;
• Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented approach;
• Strong teamwork and communication skills;
• Business-fluent German;
• Confident communication in English.
