javascript developer for NHS scheduling

Client Server is recruiting for a technology-for-good product that helps drive efficiencies for the NHS. The product is a complex real-time shift rota application hosted on AWS and available through web and mobile devices.

• Re-architect and enhance the front-end scheduling platform using an Angular codebase;
• Focus on front-end projects with modern Angular 21;
• Write and optimise SQL database queries;
• Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making;
• Influence best practices and technology choices;
• Mentor and develop other team members.

• Front-end experience with JavaScript and modern Angular, including Angular 21;
• Experience with relational databases and SQL query writing;
• Good understanding of REST APIs, real-time systems, and CI/CD;
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and Agile development methodologies;
• Experience in start-ups or SMEs with varied responsibilities;
• Collaborative and pragmatic approach with strong communication skills;
• Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline from a top-tier university;
• Nice to have: Experience with Angular Ionic for mobile applications.
