задачи
Build and maintain platform solutions that improve the reliability, security, and scalability of Database Platform infrastructure;
Apply cloud infrastructure, networking, and CI/CD best practices to support operational data storage solutions;
Collaborate with Product & Analytics Teams on orchestration, access, and metadata management;
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to documentation;
Contribute to the team’s roadmap by delivering high-quality code and infrastructure improvements;
Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshooting efforts;
Maintain and enhance observability solutions, including metrics, logging, and tracing, to meet SLOs and availability targets.
требования
Hands-on experience maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, particularly in AWS;
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS;
Proficiency in infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools;
Competence in at least one programming language; Python is preferred;
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins;
Experience with modern data transformation tools, particularly dbt;
Expertise in workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow;
Familiarity with networking and security best practices in cloud environments;
Familiarity with observability tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry;
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams;
Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements;
Passion for building high-quality, scalable, and secure infrastructure;
Eagerness to learn and contribute to building platforms as products;
Nice to have: Knowledge of database internals, including performance tuning, high-availability architecture, replication/failover, and sharding/clustering; Backend Engineer experience; familiarity with metadata platforms such as OpenMetadata.
