qa engineer (manual) for a multiplayer survival shooter

HyperHug is an international game development studio specializing in the shooter genre. It is developing Oxide: Survival Island, an immersive multiplayer survival shooter for mobile platforms.

• Own and drive the game’s overall quality strategy across the entire development lifecycle;
• Build and scale end-to-end QA processes for a rapidly growing live game, covering manual testing, test automation, performance, and release quality;
• Lead and develop the QA team, ensuring clear ownership, effective collaboration, and alignment with product goals;
• Identify systemic quality risks and drive cross-functional improvements with Development and Product teams.

• 7+ Years of experience in game QA, including strong experience as a Head of QA;
• Strong experience building and scaling QA processes for a rapidly growing live game with a large player base;
• Strong understanding of manual testing, test automation, performance testing, and release quality;
• Experience defining and implementing a product-level QA strategy;
• Strong leadership skills and experience building, mentoring, and developing QA teams;
• English at B1+ level;
• Russian at C1 level;
• Nice to have: experience with large-scale mobile Unity games, especially multiplayer shooters, survival games, or sandbox games.
