OLYX is a brokerage company based in Amsterdam that operates in renewable energy trading, including biofuels and environmental commodities. It has intermediated over €10 billion in deal value through more than 700 trading partners across Europe, Asia, and South America.

• Own the full hiring lifecycle, from intake, market mapping, and direct sourcing through assessment, offer, and onboarding, for roles across biofuels, environmental commodities, and renewable energy markets;
• Translate hiring needs into clear role profiles, search strategies, and target company lists;
• Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, providing market insight and a consultative approach;
• Identify and engage passive talent for specialised roles across environmental commodity markets;
• Use LinkedIn Recruiter, industry events, referrals, and personal networks to reach candidates who are not on the open market;
• Maintain market intelligence on competitors, compensation benchmarks, and emerging talent trends;
• Build and nurture long-term talent networks for critical commercial roles across the biofuels and renewables supply chain;
• Develop talent pools supporting current openings and future global expansion into new markets and regions;
• Track and re-engage strong candidates over time;
• Help shape and professionalise the talent acquisition function;
• Build and lead a small in-house recruitment team, setting standards, tools, and ways of working;
• Manage relationships with external search firms for retained or specialised mandates.

• Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field;
• 5+ Years of experience in talent acquisition, including significant experience in direct search, headhunting, or executive search;
• Experience recruiting commercial profiles within biofuels, environmental commodities, renewable energy, commodities trading, or an adjacent industry;
• Experience leading or mentoring junior recruiters, or clear ambition to step into a team lead role;
• Fluent in English;
• Skilled at assessing competencies and cultural alignment for commercial, client-facing roles;
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence advising and challenging senior hiring managers;
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment;
• Genuine interest in employer branding, inclusive hiring, and the energy transition;
