machine learning engineer for delivery-time prediction

• Design and improve ETA and delivery-time prediction models for the consumer-facing experience;
• Build models for the dispatcher to inform automatic rider allocation to orders;
• Improve prediction quality and reliability across markets, order types and delivery conditions;
• Productionise end-to-end machine learning solutions from initial concept to code deployment;
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists and product managers to improve the use of delivery-time predictions across the platform.

• 3+ Years of experience as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist;
• Proven ability to write high-quality production code in Python;
• Experience applying machine learning and algorithmic solutions to complex business problems in production;
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and model selection;
• Experience building predictive models for forecasting, time estimation or real-time decision-making;
• Experience taking models through to production;
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles;
• Strong programming and statistical skills;
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into practical technical solutions;
• Focus on simplicity and tangible business impact over theoretical complexity.
